Copper Clad Aluminium Wire(CCAW) is the new products replacing the previous generation, widely recommended by the country, taking the international advanced craftwork of cover welding.
    It is the bimetal wire that makes the metallurgy combination of copper layer and aluminum-core wire, through the way of cover the copper layer on the aluminum-core wire.and also realize the copper layer spread to circumference and portrait way with balanced concentricity. The product is divided into soft and hard state in the way of statement, but 10 percent to 15 percent according to the volume of copper layer. And every technology index has met the American ASTM B566-93 Standards.
The advantages of Copper clad aluminum wire:
1. DC Resistivity: the dc resistivity of copper clad aluminum wire is just 1.5 times than that of pure copper wire, and as the resistive rate is the same, copper clad aluminum wires weight is about half of the pure copper wire, so according to the skin effect, on the point of or above the 5MHZ, the resistive rate is the same with pure cooper wire.
2, Well welded: cooper clad aluminum wire has the good welding capability as the pure cooper wire for its surface covered with a layer of cooper/

With light weight: the weight percentage between the cooper clad aluminum wire and the pure cooper wire is just 37% to 40%, so under the circumstance of the same weight and wire size, its length is 2.5 to 2.7 times that pure cooper wire, which has lower the production cost. For example, buying one ton of copper clad aluminum wire is the same with buying 2.5 to 2.7 tons pure copper wire.
